How to setup sync in TimeSheets app

Before you can send your timesheets from the TimeSheet app to QuickBooks (Windows only) or MYOB the first time you need to setup the sync options

For QuickBooks follow these steps:
  1. Inside QuickBooks ensure that you selected the option to Track Time in the QuickBooks Company Preferences
  2. In QuickBooks (Windows, Mac is not supported) select File > Timer > Export lists for Timer and save the file to your desktop.
  3. Using Excel, Notepad or a Text Editor open the Timer file (.IIF) you have just exported, it should appear as follows: 
Inside the Zed Timesheets app
  1. In the TimeSheet app tap the Sync button on the menu bar and then Sync at the top of the screen and enter the following;
Export settings      
  • Employee Name - This is the name as it appears in QuickBooks ie (Charlie Carp)
  • Company - enter the name of your QuickBooks Company File, in the exported IIF file this will appear under COMPANYNAME (ie Balmain Builders)
  • Time - enter the number that appears under the label COMPANYCREATETIME in the exported IIF file ( ie 1288657375)
  1. Click on Export and you can send your Timesheets via email to be imported into QuickBooks (Windows) as a Timer file.
