How to connect Midi to QuickBooks

To establish a connection between Midi and QuickBooks.  Follow these steps:  

  1. Before you start Midi make sure that you have your QuickBooks company file open.
  2. To start Zed Midi, click on the desktop icon or select the application from the Start menu.
  3. The first time Zed Axis connects to a QuickBooks company file you will need to give Zed Midi permission to access the company file.  We recommend that you select always.  To do this you will need to be logged into QuickBooks with Administrator status.
  4. Zed Axis should now connect to QuickBooks.
  5. Click the Update button.
  6. The next step is to Register the Midi Barcode Scanner.
