How to remove the Zed Office web service from the Web Connector

You can remove the Zed Office web service from the Web Connector at any time. Removing the web service will prevent the web service from accessing your QuickBooks company. Removing the Zed Office the web service also removes its password.
To remove a web service application:

  1. Open the QuickBooks Web Connector
  2. In the list of web service applications in the web connector, locate the Zed Office web service.
  3. Check the checkbox next to the Zed Office web service.
  4. Click Remove.
To ensure that Zed Office Web Service was removed, open the QuickBooks company file that you were connecting to and check that Zed Office is no longer listed in the integrated application list.  Follow these steps:

  1. Open you QuickBooks company file and login with Administrator permissions, you will need to have the company file in Single user mode
  2. Select the company preferences by Edit > Preferences and then select the Integrated Application option
  3. In the list of integrated applications you might see Zed Office web service.
  4. If it is still listed highlight it and click the Remove button, and confirm its removal.

If you have set up multi machines to connect you should repeat the above process to ensure that all connections are removed.
