System requirements - recommended system requirements for self hosting Zed Office
If you intend to self-host the Zed Office service, the following are the suggested requirements for hardware and software.
Application server and or database server:
- Processor - Intel Core 2 Duo 2.13 GHz
- RAM - 2 GB RAM
- Hard drive SATA RAID - 1 GB minimum storage.
- Microsoft Windows 2000 Server or later operating system
- Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 or above
- Microsoft .NET Framework version 3.5 or later.
- SSL web certificate, (required for the QuickBooks Web Connector)
Network
- Static IP address
- Allocation of approximately 7K nominal / 56k rated bandwidth per active user.
- End users need to be able to resolve the web-server via domain name
