Managing the Service item list

The Service Item list represents the services that you provide to your customers, for example Bookkeeping, consulting or training.  Service items can have multiple subitems associated to them, the Service items and subitems are separated by a colon and will appear like this Item:Subitem .  If you selected Billable then you will need to select a Service item that will be billed for the hours you are entering, if it is not billable then you can select a Service item or None.

 

Managing the Service Item list

By default all active Items of type service will appear in the list however Administrators can manage the Service items that are displayed on timesheets by:

 

Only show by Active

You can filter your Service Item list to only show those items that are marked as Active in Zed Office.  To do that:

1.        Login into Zed Office as an Administrator

2.        Select from the menu Admin > Manage lists

3.        Click the Edit link next to the Service Item list

4.        Check or uncheck the boxes next to the items you want to show or hide.

5.        Click save and only those items will appear in the list.
